Steller Vacations
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
ASSETS: LOGO, DESTINATION ILLUSTRATIONS, POSTERS, HANDOUTS, SOCIAL PLATFORM IDENTITY, PRINT ADS, POSTCARDS, MERCH.
Steller Vacations is a fictional BC focused travel agency that organizes vacation packages for clients looking to explore the province in a convenient, fun way. I created a marketing campaign including a logo, posters, magazine ads, social media assets, handouts, postcards, and merchandise. The target audience are people in their 20’s to 40’s looking for travel adventures in the natural beauty of British Columbia. It was a fun challenge utilizing the brand assets I created to extrapolate different marketing materials in a variety of layout, sizes, and contexts.
I created this project as an opportunity to develop and showcase my landscape digital painting skills; I made two illustrations in Photoshop portraying a Tofino beach sunset and a Whistler mountainside. This project was created with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Travel Posters
The name and logo were inspired by the Steller’s Jay, which is the provincial bird of British Columbia. I noticed that the crest of the Steller’s Jay was reminiscent of the mountains for which Western Canada is renowned; that image combined with the play on the word “stellar” jumpstarted my logo process. You can find the brand style guide for Steller Vacations at the bottom of this page.
